INKA: I have to tell you all something..

Hey guys!

It's been a while since I blogged on this thing. Mostly, I use this page now just to keep you all updated on the charts, and even that's inconsistent and I do apologize for the delays. You see, folks, I FREAKIN' BROKE MY LAPTOP (netbook, actually).

*sniff*

Well, not really broke it, but I kinda downloaded something that looked like anti-virus but was actually a WORM that infected my entire drive, and I only have one, so it's not like I can just reformat everything and start from scratch. I actually have to REINSTALL my OS. UGH. It's a good thing my netbook came with the OS so my key is stuck to the back and everything. Just gotta buy the CD.

So yeah, fixing that now.

Right about now, I'm supposed to be at work but I'm not. You see, for those of you who didn't know, I didn't go to work for 2 weeks (basically from the end of Nov til the 2nd week of Dec). I've heard from many a band I've interviewed that there were MANY theories regarding my disappearance.

My dad said that I was getting an operation so I can become a cyborg.

Never The Strangers, whose song is currently on the charts goojab, told me when the passed by that they heard that I got married! Actually, they congratulated me first, and I was really confused as to why they did. I thought they congratulated me on a job well done because I conduct kick-ass interviews or something (heh). Then PJ said that he heard that I got married. Well, I didn't know I got married! lol! They also said that people were saying that I got pregnant, that I got an abortion *GASP!*, and--to go in the complete and opposite direction--some people said that I gave birth via C-Section.

Guess what, rumor mongers, THAT AIN'T TRUE. And I use wrong grammar just to emphasize my point.

This is what happened to me:

November 27, Sunday, I was moving some furniture around the house when I felt intense pain from my lower abdomen. I couldn't walk or even stand, so I took a really strong pain-killer and then I was rushed to P'que Medical's ER where they told me that my ovarian cysts might have twisted. Because of the pain meds, I was able to go back home that night.

The next day, my mom accompanied me to see our doctor. She said that I had to undergo some usual tests (blood, pee, ultrasound) to determine if it really WAS a twisted cyst(er LOL), or something else. Blood tests showed I had high infection in my system already, so they were deliberating whether to admit me or not because I seemed fine. Then after a few moments, the strong pain killer I took the night before started to wear off, and within a matter of minutes, I was in pain again and I couldn't stand anymore. I had to be wheelchair-ed into a birthing center where they had an ultrasound machine at the ready. They did the ultrasound and saw that the cyst that was in my ovary wasn't there anymore, and instead they saw blood. Apparently, the pain I felt was the cyst bursting and they had to get the rest out before the did the same thing. At 9pm that Monday night, I was wheeled into the operating room.

I woke up 4 hours later with a scratchy throat (they shoved a tube in there so I stayed asleep), pain in my abdomen (because they cut it and put a camera through my bellybutton), and really high on anesthetics. Whew.

I stayed at Asian Hospital for 2 days, then rested at home for 2 weeks :)

Today is my post-operation check up with my doctor to make sure I'm a-okay. I feel okay, though, so it's no big.

There, that's all that's been going on with me recently. My laptop (or netbook, whatever) will be up and running soon enough. That means I'll start blogging again. And god knows how much I love to shove what I think down people's throats :3

Just a little reminder to everyone visiting the site:

My name is Inka and I tally all your votes every week, and I host the 50 Minute Hit Blitz and The RT30 Countdown.

99.5RT has a SET PLAYLIST, something that I seem to have to keep mentioning EVERYDAY when people call. That means that I have no say on what goes in to the RT playlist.

If your favorite song isn't on the polls, that means it's NOT on the RT playlist YET OR EVER.

If you want your song to get on the PLAYLIST so you CAN VOTE for it so it can qualify for the countdown, then talk to my boss about it. Let's see you call him deaf and blind.

There's a lot of hard work that goes into this job that I am very passionate about. I'd appreciate it if you would NOT call me names, David Archuleta fan.

What is a James?

According to the Urban Dictionary, James is:

..People with the name James are generally known for their good looks (especially the eyes) and women are just simply attracted to them.

But my definition would be: Fil-Am young man with a natural talent for wit and conversation. Can sing, dances when he likes the song, and does street fighting a.k.a. fighting on the street with his shadow from the streetlamp. He likes hip hop, too. And he answers the phone (6330995/7060940).

I had already met James before, and when I did, I thought, "Hey, there's potential here.", so after a while, I used my powers

Kanye West's All Of The Lights Music Video Is Inspired By Gaspar Noe

I'm sure you all have heard of Kanye West's new song, All Of The Lights. He sings it with Rihanna, Kid Cudi, and lots of other guest vocalists.

Here's the video:

It is BRILLIANT, isn't it? Kanye's really an artist, musically, visually--he's awesome.

But did you guys know that the video is not all that original? Just like everyone else, Kanye West doesn't steal, but gets inspiration from things that really strike him as awesome.

You can tell that it's the actors because the fonts start to change. And there are Japanese symbols because it was shown in Japan BECAUSE it was shot it Japan, too.

Oh WOW it's been a while, hasn't it? A good few months?

Yes, I've been infected by a cursed writer's block with a dash of laziness, of course. Something always has to have laziness.

So the past few months have been uneventful in my eyes, really, but lots of stuff happened too.
I hear Bieber's got a new haircut and there are groups against it, other people are saying he never should have touched his hair, and others approve of the new look. Meanwhile, others took the time to realize that they were actually talking about a boy's haircut and just did something a little bit more productive..like this:

Other than the haircut, he also started dating Selena Gomez!

And I heard that, and I'm not surprised, the Beliebers are causing another uproar! They hate Selena Gomez because Justin Bieber, their God, is dating her and not them. Tsk tsk tsk. Sending death threats, wishing her ill, calling her names..oh yeah, that'll totally get Justin's heart because he's into girls who are control freaks, basically women who won't let him live his life and do what/date who he wants to, and he LOVES women who have violent tendencies! Like when they saw a picture of him with Kim Kardashian and she started getting death threats, too.

I can just imagine how good he must feel having fans like that. I'm not generalizing, though, I'm sure there are lots of Beliebers who are happy for him and want him to just go on and live his life and are really ashamed of the war-freaks they associate with. Hehe.

Man, Justin is the luckiest guy ever. :)

Yes, I know this is a tad old but I feel like I really have to share it because

1. Quite a few people might not even know this happened, and

2. It's hella funny and I think that it's great to have someone's ego pushed down a peg or three.

The whole thing is actually pretty funny, and I just love listening to Daniel Radcliffe's voice and his accent, but the fun starts at 4:20. I'm not kidding or stoned or whatever you might think, the whole thing really starts at 4:20.

Basically, the story is that Daniel Radcliffe was on the phone with Ryan Seacrest on the air, and Ryan played a clip of when Miley Cyrus was his guest before saying that she heard from somewhere that Daniel Radcliffe had a little crush on her.

Daniel's response: "What's her name?"

Welcome to the New Year!!

It's 2011 and I want the first post to be the Year-Ender Chart! Then many more posts will follow. The holidays are already over so no more laziness, no more week-long delays regarding posts, all that jazz.

First off, here are a few things I noticed while doing this post:

1. The chart was in ascending order as opposed to the usual countdown-style.

2. I don't have Microsoft Office on my laptop ergo no way to fix the order of the list.

3. I will have to manually fix the order of the list by cut and pasting the songs one by one in the proper descending manner.

4. It takes so long to fix the order that way.

5. It takes so FREAKIN' LONG to fix the order that way

6. Goddamnit

7. I need to download Microsoft Office.

8. What number was I on?

9. Shet

10. Oooh when I'm on a certain group of numbers, it's equal to the number of times I have to hit the Pg Up/Pg Down button (50-59 = pressing keys 5 times, 60-69 = pressing keys 6 times). SO KEWL ♥

The RH Bill: WHY IS THIS SO HARD? (That's what she said)

I'm just gonna talk outta my ass here, okay? Kinda busy now, but I really wanted to get this off my chest.

This may be a little crude when I say this, but which is the lesser of two evils? Fornicators or murderers?

The truth is, this country needs the RH Bill because there are too many people here who don't have jobs and have nothing else to do but bump uglies. Without condoms, they will do nothing else but make more children because a.) they're bored and sex is fun, and b.) the more children they have, the more chances one of them will become rich.

OBVIOUSLY

With more people in the country (born out of boredom), we're bound to have problems such as overpopulation and everything else that goes with it (higher unemployment rate, greater demand for dwindling supply, more unhygienic living spaces--that's what happens when you stuff a family of 8 in one room) apart from the disease that sex can spread. No matter what you say, no matter what you think, PEOPLE ARE HAVING SEX AND YOU CAN'T USE HELL TO SCARE THEM INTO STOPPING.

Now, the people who can no longer afford children but still screw their brains out every night CAN and DO get pregnant. So what do they do when they find out that they've got a bun in the oven?

Yes, they kill it. Why? They can't afford to have any more children so what else are they gonna do? Some take strong pills so the baby will just fall on its own while others go to some cheap-ass abortion clinic where it's unsanitary and dangerous because they can't afford the safer, cleaner clinics. Some women die from blood loss during these abortions, so not only does the baby die, but the mother as well.

From what I gather, the RH Bill will help educate people about sex, to let them know that this is what the hell you're doing and here are the steps to safe sex--not getting pregnant and not contracting AIDS. Instead of educating people, however, anti-RH Bill people are telling lies to brainwash the less-educated into saying NO to something that can help them and, in turn, help our country. They're claiming that there are studies that show a link between condom use and cancer, that condoms can cause strokes and heart attacks, and that condoms can cause AIDS--YEAH, if you turn the condom inside-out right before using it again! I wouldn't be surprised if people actually do that because, like I said, some people really , honestly DO NOT KNOW any better!

I talked to Little Lulu about that and you know what she had to say about it?

So now I read that according to a recent survey, 7 out of 10 Filipinos are in favor of the RH Bill (*). Hey that's great! Now what do they do about it? They're asking the people in charge of the surveys to STOP IT because they don't want the results to "influence the decisions of the lawmakers debating about the bill".

WHAT THE--? NOO!!!

DON'T BE STUPID.

The government is for the people, so LET the surveys influence the decisions! Our country is OVERPOPULATED. There should be a choice! LET the bill pass, and THEN, if you so wish, CONTROL what the masses decide, but PLEASE make sure they are educated enough about the matter to KNOW that THEY HAVE A CHOICE.

So...Fornicators or Murderers?

The Rolling Stone: Kanye West Is On Top

It's been tough recently for Kanye West since the whole Taylor Swift thing.

It look a looooong time for everyone to forget about how he took the mic from innocent Taylor Swift and expressed his objections about her award.

Yeah it was horrible, he was such a mean person to do that to her after she was so happy to win it and everything--yes, yes, understood. Everyone was talking about how much of an ass he was. President Obama even went as far as calling him a douchebag! A long time later, everone kinda got over it, but Taylor Swift wouldn't let it go. I even posted about how Taylor Swift wrote a song about Kanye and performed it on a "gothic" stage:

And while we all went back to our normal lives, Kanye West had a bit of a breakdown because there were still people milking the whole debacle. People didn't want to buy his albums because he was "an ass", so instead of listening and appreciating the music he put forward, they shunned it because of, I admit, a somewhat serious lack of judgment on his part :p

But many moons afterward (meaning now), Rolling Stone Magazine released their Rolling Stone Best Albums of 2010 list and Kanye West isn't laughing, but smiling smugly from the top of the pops.

So Miley Cyrus turned 18 a few days ago, so before anything else, let's honor her by posting a cheezy, glitterfont birthday greeting.

I wonder what she's been doing since she turned 18?

Ah yes. Spreading her...joy to everyone around her. As usual :D

So it's just been a few days and already, she's been seen with too little clothing. You might be thinking, "So what, Inka? Nothing new there!" but when I mean less, I don't just mean this

"I can't find it in here. I don't even know what this modesty is."

I mean, totally and utterly naked. There's a picture going around that's allegedly Miley in the buff inside her hotel room in Milan or something.

There's actually an entire debate about this shot. People are comparing this shot to other shots of herself in her hotel, claiming that, Oh this wall is in this picture so it's real, then another comes around saying that, Her "Just Breathe" tattoo isn't visible so it isn't her, and they also have a, It's-Miley-'coz-she's-naked-and-Miley's-really-like-that train of thought, too.

Do you think that she's pushing this whole adult thing a little too far? Or is it really even her?

Taylor Momsen To Be Written Off Gossip Girl

You all know my fixation for little trouble child Taylor Momsen and how I find her so pathetic. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love her songs and I think she has a great voice, but if only she didn't really try so hard, I'd probably believe her more.

But I don't know, she probably really IS like that because everyone in her Gossip Girl cast says so. Even SHE said she didn't have any friends on the set, but she really doesn't have to worry anymore because Little Jenny Humphrey is being killed off the show.

Well, no, not really, but she'll be gone by the end of the season :p

Sources claim that "it has nothing to do with her bad behavior or her music career" and that it's because "they all graduated high school and it'll be hard to put all of them in the same environment in a natural way."

Sources confirm that the increasingly volatile actress - who has appeared in a grand total of three episodes this fall despite being listed as a series regular - will begin an indefinite hiatus following next Monday's episode. Although reps for The CW and producer Warner Bros. declined to comment, sources confirm that Momsen's Jenny will be MIA for at least four episodes beginning with the show's midseason finale on Dec. 6.

Howlee crapola it's December!!

Time's fun when you're having flies, it seems! I feel like I just closed my eyes mid-June only to wake up the next day realizing that it's already the end of the year...

That doesn't make much sense, yes, but anyways.

I hate that I don't have a constant source of wifi. I can't post as often as I want to and I can't update anything as soon as I feel the need to! RARRR!! Note to self: ask someone to buy me a Globe Tattoo portable internet thingy for Christmas.

Another thing that would be great as a gift is Beyonce's Heat.

She made it too hot, and now, her commercial has been banned from daytime UK Television.

The Advertising Standards Authority says

"Beyonce's body movements and the camera's prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away to partially expose her breasts created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by young children. We considered that the ad should not have been shown before 7.30pm due to the sexually provocative nature of the imagery."

I just love how the United States makes people think that WAR is okay by putting events together like the VH1 Divas Salute The Troops concert special happening on December 5.
